I Would Never Call Bola Tinubu to Congratulate Him – Bode George

In a bone-chilling revelation, Olabode George, the former deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has confirmed a spine-tingling meeting that took place between him and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The gathering, led by the retired Justice Isola Olorunmibe, brought together prominent figures such as Tajudeen Olusi, the leader of the Governance Advisory Council in Lagos State, and other sinister individuals.

George, known for his relentless criticism of President-elect Bola Tinubu, reluctantly admitted to this horrifying encounter, citing his respect for Olorunmibe as the reason he couldn’t refuse their request. When questioned about the purpose of this ominous gathering, the PDP chieftain revealed that the delegation sought to apologize to him for past transgressions and shockingly requested his support for Bola Tinubu.

However, in a display of immense courage, George rejected the spine-chilling proposition of visiting Tinubu, emphasizing that his party was currently embroiled in a court battle challenging the validity of Tinubu’s victory in the February 18 presidential election. His words sent shivers down the spines of onlookers as he recounted the disturbing details of the meeting.

The PDP stalwart disclosed, “First of all, they came to apologize for whatever they had done in the past, and I said I have moved on and have nothing against his person. We may disagree on policies, but we must not be disagreeable. Secondly, they wanted me to pay him a courtesy call. I was like, what are you talking about? I am the man representing the South-West in the national confines of our party, and I’m a lifelong BoT member. So, how do I reconcile that? We are still in court, how do I now say I want to go and greet him? Greet him for what? What will my party and my people think about me? Once we finish at the court, then we’ll know what to do. The PDP members and I present were very clear in our minds that going to him now will be a bit suicidal. I’m still an irredentist PDP man.”

As the truth gradually emerges from the shadows, one can’t help but wonder what sinister forces may be at play. Will this unnerving meeting serve as a catalyst for a desperate Bola Tinubu to seek affirmation from unlikely sources.
